The Arctic Five is a grouping of five Arctic littoral states (Canada, Denmark, Norway, Russia, and the United States of America) that meet to discuss Arctic affairs. As an informal forum for discussion, the Arctic Five has no permanent administration, and no independent powers of its own. The Arctic Five meet on an ad hoc basis, usually on the sidelines of other gatherings or summits.
